This template provides a consistent format for sellers to list their hatching eggs on EggBay.

 

It ensures buyers receive clear, transparent information about breed details, laying schedule, fertility expectations, and shipping practices, helping build trust and simplify purchasing decisions.

All sellers must clearly provide the following information in their listing:

Breed & Quantity

  • Breed:

  • Number of eggs included:

Availability

  • Status:
    ☐ Eggs currently available
    ☐ Pre-sale

  • If pre-sale:
    Provide a rough estimated lay/shipping window (example: “Expected May–June 2026 depending on seasonal production”)

Shipping Method

  • Carrier used:
    ☐ USPS
    ☐ UPS
    ☐ FedEx

  • Shipping service level (Priority, Ground, Express, etc.):

Packaging Method

Sellers must describe how eggs are packaged. Example details:

  • Foam shippers, bubble wrap, double boxing, etc.

  • Cushioning materials used

Seller Policies (Required Agreement that must be in all listings)

No Hatch Guarantee:
Due to factors outside the seller’s control — including shipping handling, incubation practices, and environmental conditions — sellers must explicitly state that development, and hatch rate are not guaranteed.

Damage Replacement Policy:
Sellers must agree to replace eggs that arrive visibly damaged during shipping.

Documentation Requirement:
Buyers may be required to submit photos or video of eggs and packaging upon arrival to qualify for replacement.
