How Do Payouts Work for Sellers?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Seller payouts are typically released after orders are marked as shipped and/or delivered, depending on marketplace policies and dispute review periods.
EggBay may temporarily hold payouts in certain situations to help protect buyers and sellers from fraud, shipment issues, or marketplace disputes.
Why should I use EggBay instead of Facebook or other Marketplaces?
EggBay was created specifically for the bird and homesteading community. Unlike generalized marketplaces, EggBay focuses on transparency, breeder accountability, niche-specific listings, and creating a trusted community for buyers and sellers.
Can EggBay Remove Sellers or Listings?
Yes. EggBay reserves the right to remove listings, suspend seller accounts, or deny seller applications that violate marketplace standards or applicable laws.

Can Sellers Set Their Own Policies?
Yes. Individual sellers may establish their own policies regarding shipping, handling times, returns, refunds, local pickup, and order requirements, provided those policies comply with EggBay marketplace rules.
Why was my Seller Application Denied?
EggBay reserves the right to approve or deny seller applications to help maintain marketplace quality, trust, and community standards.
Are Live Birds Allowed on EggBay?
Live animal sales may be permitted only where legally allowed and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Sellers are responsible for understanding and following all shipping and animal transport regulations.
