Think of it as a safer, more focused version of eBay—built specifically for the bird and homestead community.

EggBay connects buyers and sellers, but individual sellers manage their own products and shipping.

EggBay charges a 10% commission on completed sales. Still cheaper than eBay, Etsy and most selling platforms.

There are:

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you can open a dispute through your EggBay account.

Buyers and sellers must both be located within the United States.

EggBay is the marketplace platform that hosts the listings, handles payments, and ensures a safe buying experience.

EggBay does not ship items.

Each seller sets:

• Their own shipping prices

• Their own carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)

• Their own handling times

• Whether they offer local pickup

Shipping details vary by seller and are listed on each product page.

Because shipped hatching eggs are fragile and many factors affect hatchability, hatch rates are not refundable.

However, sellers are responsible for proper packaging and accurate descriptions.

If a seller is unresponsive:

• EggBay will step in

• We will contact the seller on your behalf

• We may cancel and refund the order if necessary

Sellers who repeatedly fail to communicate may be removed from the platform.

EggBay processes all customer payments through Wix Payments. Funds are first received by EggBay and then paid out to sellers after the order is marked as shipped and delivered, and the payout hold period has passed.

Seller earnings are calculated as follows:

• 10% EggBay marketplace commission

• Standard payment processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction via Wix Payments)

After these deductions, the remaining balance is paid to the seller via their selected payout method.

Payouts may be held temporarily to allow time for delivery confirmation or to resolve any issues related to the order. Processing fees are charged by the payment provider and are non-refundable.

EggBay reserves the right to withhold or adjust payouts in the event of disputes, refunds, chargebacks, or policy violations.
